Question: Which Biblical Book is more depressing. The Book of Job or Ecclesiastes?
Both are “heavy” with the thoughts and logic of men; but I prefer Job because of the conclusions, and the Divine rewards for Job!
Also much is learned of Satan’s current freedom in Chps.1&2; which helps to explain what is underway between God and the Enemy!
Regarding Ecclesiastes, I am amazed that Solomon retained his God given wisdom (Chp. 2:9), considering his foolish behaviour with (strange women), which led him into allowing pagan gods into his domain!
However; both are good reading in the context of the whole Bible and its main message of Salvation in Christ Jesus, especially the problem of men's minds!
They also give impetus towards the glorious outcome of the culmination of the “Ages”; when all the turmoil of human kind will be stilled before the Glory of God and His Son!
