Question: Is Israel different to The Body?

Almighty God was/is in “Covenant” relationship with Israel; which will revive and play out at the end of this Age we are in at present! Part of that “Covenant” was Israel’s promise to “obey and serve” God in faithfulness, which they did not do! Their failure is summarized in Malachi! In this “Age” time; we as Christians have the privilege of Christ’s Gift of Salvation and eternal life; by “Faith” in Him!
So; Israel is to be saved by God’s Promises, see the prophets; and because of His Promises!
The True Body of Christ Jesus (see Paul’s writings); is saved by God’s provision of Himself in Christ; which we (with our free-will) can choose to accept, or refuse. If we accept, we are “sealed in Heaven”, until death or Rapture; when we are then with Christ Jesus from then on!
Those who refuse, are subject to Judgment by God at the end of the Millennial period; see Rev. 20:11–15!
