Question: In Numbers 25:10-13, what is the Covenant of Peace and the Everlasting Priesthood promised to Phineas and his descendants, and do they still persist?
IMO yes! All the way to Zech.12:10 and beyond!
When Almighty God makes a promise, He follows through, no matter what the time scale!
Very few people realize (including Israel), that Israel is to become a “Kingdom of Priests to Almighty God” to the world that will exist after the events of Zechariah!
A few references that show God’s continuity are:
Psm.106:30–31, Mal. 2: 4–5, 1Chron.6: 4–15 & Ezra 7:1–5.
The major lesson for us all IMO, is our “hearts before the Lord God”!
