Esau and the "Woman's seed", Gen. 3:15
Question: “When Esau was forty years old, he took as his wives Judith daughter of Beeri the Hittite and Basemath daughter of Elon the Hittite. And they brought grief to Isaac ad Rebecca” (Gen. 26:34-35). Why didn’t they respect the 40-year old son’s decision?
You will remember that Isaac was the “son of Promise”, and that “Abraham, Isaac and Jacob” were the nucleus of the Tribes of Israel!
You will remember that after the “fall of Eve and Adam in Eden”; Almighty God promised in Gen.3:15, the “woman’s seed” would be the source of Satan’s defeat and destruction; which was realised in Mary the mother of Jesus; and the Resurrection of Jesus from death, in Jerusalem!
When you realise that Esau’s sins in marrying the Hittite daughters would have brought Satanic admixture to the genetics of Israel; it becomes clear that what he was doing in disobedience to his father and mother, would have introduced Satanic seed into the “Royal Line” of the Messiah of Israel and the Gentiles; and nullified God’s promise of Salvation!
Many Bible scholars do not go as far as to say that the women were Nephilim offspring (from fallen angels and human women) but the most learned and wise do; which answers your query!
The scholars that do not hold to these “facts”; use the excuse that the women were just aberrant paganists, as they worshipped many false gods, all of Satanic origin. However, the Bible shows that they did not have recorded children in the Messiah Line!
The aberrance of Esau will not be dealt with until the Lord Jesus Christ returns to Earth to deal with all these problems; which cannot be until Zech.12:10 has been reached; as many of Esau’s sins have led to the problems now surrounding Revived Israel; and Esau/ Jordon, is one of the very early dealings that Jesus undertakes upon His return!
