Question: What is the purpose of the author in writing the Ecclesiastes?
To show that all/most human motivated endeavour is shallow in purpose and result, compared with what is on offer to all humans who accept the God of Love, shown in Christ Jesus!
The sense of Truth in Solomon’s statement; “vanity, vanity, all is vanity”; compared with; “I AM, the WAY< the TRUTH, and the LIFE”, gives the complete answer!
