Question: In terms of the Lamb's Book of Life is there a view regarding the book of the dead?
All who have been “removed” from the “Book of Life” are in the category of the dead; but I have never read in Scripture of a “book of the Dead”!
However, there is reference to one in Egyptian Myth!
If you notice carefully, Moses offered himself to be removed from “the Book of Life” when Israel sinned badly; but was told by God “that only He would decide who was excluded, based on the sins of the person, which offended Him” (Exod. 32:30).
King David (who sinned grievously), was afraid that he would be removed from “the Book of Life”; but God stated that “he was a man after His own heart”!
The "Body of Christ" will have been removed at the “Rapture", and the “Age of Grace in Christ Jesus” is over. Therefore the warning is for the people in the context of the "Great Tribulation", and almost certainly those included in the period of the "Book of Life", i.e. from the "foundation" (overthrow) of the world, but not including "The Body of Christ", which was "known" before the (overthrow), Eph. 1:4 & 1Peter 1:20.
